Backpack Update!

Dear Church, Revival Temple was thrilled to receive the backpacks all stuffed and ready-to-go.  They are excited about the outreach on Saturday, expecting at least 250 families from North School to attend.  In addition to giving out backpacks there will also be free food, a clothing give-away, blood pressure and diabetes screening, a gospel presentation, a prayer station, and plenty of activities for children.  With so much to offer, this event has been appropriately named Hopefest. It is clear to…

Abortion in Illinois

PRAISE GOD THAT THIS PAST TUESDAY, for the first time since Roe vs. Wade was decided, Illinois parents will be entitled to notification before their minor daughters are taken for abortions. The United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit has dissolved the federal injunction against the Illinois Parental Notice of Abortion Act. This decision is the culmination of four years work by the Thomas More Society (TMS), particularly TMS Special Counsel Paul Linton. The Parental Notice Act (approved…

Moving Day… A Huge Success!

Thanks to all who lent a hand at yesterday’s moving day!  Items were moved from our Chestnut Street building as well as from a rented storage unit.  It was quite an “exhilarating feeling” knowing we are actually moving into 2313 Washington Street, after all the years of waiting.  Now, though there is much to do, we proceed carefully and prayerfully, that our focus throughout be to bring glory to the Lord Jesus!

2313 Washington St.

A new era has begun as we are now the legal owners of the property at 2313 Washington Street. It has been in the process of closing since Monday (6/1), with disbursement of money taking place about an hour ago. We thank God for the path we have been on and for the unmatched relationship that we have with The Sign of the Dove Church. We now look forward to God using us in new and greater ways for His…

Youth Group Camp Fundraiser

A bake sale will be held on Sunday, May 24, to raise money for the youth going to camp! It will be held after the 10am service (outside the gym). Donations will be cheerfully accepted as well!

Thank You Geoff & Ty Sempa!!

We are truly sad to see Geoffrey and Tyiesha Sempa moving to California soon. May 16 will be their last Sunday. They have not only left an indelible mark on our youth, but on each one of us who have gotten to know them. We send them off with our love and prayers!

Bill & Linda Walters

In case you have not heard, Bill and Linda Walters were involved in a very serious car accident in West Bend, WI this past Thursday (5/14). By God’s grace, they both survived a collision with a tractor trailer as well as a rollover. How we glorify God for His protection and grace upon this family that means so much to all of us. (The hockey game was canceled since Bill was such a “driving force” behind it!)
