One the weeks of July 19-23, Family Life Church will be holding a Vacation Bible School program. The theme is, “GREAT PROMISES”. All children ages K-5th grade are invited to this exciting program for Games, Snacks, Bible Lessons, and fun Songs! VBS will be held from 9am – 11:30am this Monday through Friday.

On June 27, Family Life Church had an entry in Waukegan’s Independence Parade.  It was a HUGE success, and we handed out almost 5000 cards with a Gospel message on them. Our entry was almost a block long and included youngsters carrying a banner, baby strollers, worship dancers, the worship team on a float, and a convertible! [nggallery id=2]

On Sunday, June 27, Family Life Church will be participating in Waukegan’s Independence Day Parade!  Similar to the parades we have done in years past, we will have a live band playing on a float in addition to people walking, riding bikes, and dancing around the float.  We will be handing out candy and information cards to the crowd. There will be a short church service that morning at 10am, and the parade begins at 1pm. We’re getting prepared with…

This weekend we commemorate all  U.S. servicemen and servicewomen who have given their lives on behalf of this nation.  We are grateful to God for their sacrifices in order that we might have the freedoms we enjoy and all-too-often take for granted.

Beginning Sunday, May 9, (for four weeks through May 30) from 8:45-9:45am, it’s an informal time of getting to know our church better!

The next Lake County Day of Prayer will be held on Saturday, April 17, at Revial Temple in Waukegan.  This prayer gathering will be held from 9am to 1pm, and will include worship and prayer for our County, or Nation, and our World!

On the weekend of April 2-4, we will be celebrating Jesus’ death and resurrection in a very special way! The rethink (un)conference: the first annual Foursquare Heartland district’s young adult weekend getaway. We’ll be converging from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin to reThink: God. Church. Self.
